HELPFUL TIPS & WARNINGS

DO NOT USE POWER STRIPS.

A power strip will not protect your new infrared sauna. It will reduce the power allowed and or not allow the sauna to turn on at all.

WHEN IN DOUBT HIRE AN ELECTRICIAN

If you need a dedicated 20A or 230V outlet installed please hire a licensed and bonded electrician.

No. You can’t take a regular outlet and change it to a 20A outlet.

Follow all building codes during installation.

CONSIDER UPGRADING YOUR OUTLET

If your home is more than 5 years old, chances are the current outlet you want to use for your sauna needs to be replaced. Old outlets can come loose over time and restrict power. They can also cause resistance and fire.

Treat your new Health Mate to a new receptacle.
